How do I book a Joy Toyz party?

You may book a party by using our on-line reservation form or get in touch with us via phone, toll free 877-JOY-TOYZ (877-569-8699).

How much does it cost for a Joy Toyz party?

Parties are FREE with guest sales of $350 or more.

Otherwise a $50 fee will be charged to help cover the consultant's time in preparing for the presentation. An additional travel fee may be added for region outside of Montreal.

We appreciate you letting your guests know in advance that a Joy Toyz party is not only a fun way to learn about sex toys and also a Private shopping experience. We do have a variety of toys and sensual products for every budget. This makes it very easy to achieve the party minimum so you can enjoy our Hostess Incentives.

How do we pay for our purchases?

We offer multiple ways to pay for any purchases made at the party; major credit cards (VISA, MC, AMEX), cash, *check, and if available by Debit. *Check payments will require up to 14 days hold before purchased items are released to the buyer.

I live outside of Montréal can I still book a Joy Toyz party?

At the moment we serve surrounding regions of Montreal. If you are located 45 minutes outside the metropolitan area, then a travel fee will be added on top of the deposit. Travel fees vary by distance and gas mileage.

How long does a Joy Toyz party last?

The entire evening (or afternoon) lasts around 3 – 4 hours. The product demonstration is around 90 minutes, and the consultants meet with your guests one-on-one after the presentation to take orders & answer questions discreetly.

Will I be able to walk away with my new Joy Toyz purchase?

Usually, orders are placed at the party, for delivery in 1 - 3 weeks. If your group wishes to have products the same night, please contact your rep with your suggested wish list at least one week ahead of your party. We have over 100 different products to show you, so it is difficult for your consultant to guess ahead what people will want. Best just to tell her, and she will arrange to bring it.

How many people can I invite to my party?

That all depends on you, the Hostess. The parties will be held at your home so think about the number of people that can comfortably fit. Our Consultant will need a room in which to set up her display, with enough elbow room for your friends. Please confirm the number of guests with your Consultant, as she will need to plan her presentation in advance.

Are boyz allowed at a Joy Toyz party?

Some of Joy Toyz best friends are boyz! Of course they are welcome. However, we caution you to make it clear to all your guests that members of both genders will be present as it has the potential to change the atmosphere of a party.

Are there any special gifts and incentives for the hostess?

Yes, of course! The hostess receives a rebate, which is 10% of the total purchases of the group after $350 in purchases. (If your group purchases $350, then you will receive $35 towards any product your heart desires. If your group purchases $800, then you will have $80 to play with, etc.) As well, many consultants have special hostess/bridal/birthday girl gifts, so please ask her about them if she is doing them in your area.

Can I serve alcoholic beverages at my Joy Toyz party?

Where would we be without our cosmopolitans & little black dresses? Yes, you may serve your favorite snacks and beverages at your party, but we ask your guests to please respect the work we do by drinking sensibly while we are working. If you wish, we have fun punch recipes, and ideas for wine spritzers, sparklers & other great party drinks suitable for a sexy Joy Toyz party. Call us, we are happy to pass on our favourite drinks recipes to help make your party a fun-filled success! Here’s a fave recipe that has been popular at parties: Joy Toyz’ Strawberry Bliss You’ll need: One wine glass or champagne flute / guest One strawberry / guest (can substitute cherries or mango slices) White Cranberry Juice (chilled) White wine or sparkling wine(chilled) Soda Water (chilled) 1 – Place a strawberry in each glass. 2 – Add 1 oz white wine to each glass. 3 – Fill half glass with Cranberry Juice. 4 – Top up each glass with soda water.

What kind of food do I serve at a Joy Toyz party?

Nibbles, munchies, and other finger food is popular during the presentation. Simple platters of fresh fruit (berries, grapes & other self-contained fruit are popular), dark chocolate and cheese are a healthy alternative to junk food. If you are using larger fruit, like melons or mangoes, then cubes with toothpicks will make them easier to pick up (while keeping fingers clean). Big bowls of chips, cheezies, pretzals & other snack foods are also great to have. For more ideas, check your grocer’s freezer, for simple, tasty, microwavable ideas. Keep it simple. Remember, you want to have fun at your party too!

I have a cold should I cancel my party?

If you need to rebook a party, please contact your Consultant at least one week ahead of time, and she will be happy to reschedule your group at a later date. Parties cancelling with less than 7 day notice may be subject to penalties, at the discretion of your Consultant.

Is there a penalty for last minute cancellations?

If you need to make a cancellation, or reschedule your group, please give your Consultant at least one week’s notice. Sometimes, we need to travel far to get to you, so please advise us as soon as possible. We will be happy to reschedule your party for a better date. Parties cancelled under 48 hours will result in a penalty, at the discretion of your Consultant.

Is there shipping charged to my party order?

*Group orders sent to the hostess (or designated recipient) is charged a flat rate of $3.95 per person. *Minimum 3 people otherwise orders will be sent individually. Guests who wish to have their order sent individually will be charged a $10.00 within Canada.
