Consultant FAQ

Please read this FAQ if you are interested in applying to become a Joy Toy independent consultant. We are always looking for individuals who are self-motivating, have a good personality, and is business savvy.

Q: What is a Home Party?
A: Home parties are often hosted at other peoples' homes, where a group of women (10+) particiapte in a (Joy Toyz) sex toy demonstration. As an independent rep, you will be trained to talk about the many products we carry. This usually lasts 90 minutes, then you meet with the guests one on one to answer more private questions and to place orders. If you have never been to a sex toy party, we recommend that you book a party or attend one with a Joy Toyz consultant.

Q: How many parties will I be able to do?
A: Only you will determine how few or many parties you will get. It can vary from one party per month or even one party per week. Consultants who wish to have a steady flow of bookings will not wait for parties to come - instead they will be networking, posting ads, and promoting the business whenever possible.

Many party bookings are also called in at head office, which is then passed along to a consultant by nearest location to the hostess.
 

Q: How much will I be able to earn?
A: Once again this will depend on you, the kit you choose and how many hours you spend promoting your business. You can choose to work full-time or part-time, the choice is all yours.

Here is an example of potential earnings based on the Basic Kit at 25% commission: A party will last about 3 hours, with an average in party sales of $500. This gives you a  potential commission of $125 or $41.66/hour. Not bad for a couple hours of work. Of course, how much you make will increase as you book additional parties and group sales.
 

Q: I don’t know everything about sex toys, can I still become a consultant?
A: We don’t expect new team members to know everything about sex toys, which is why training is so important. We cover male and female anatomy, pleasure zones & orgasms, all types of sex toys and materials, toy care and how to prepare for your first demonstration.

We also hold monthly meeting and sometimes we invite special guests to discuss sex and health, as the initial training won’t cover everything. However you can also contact the head office anytime by call 514-845-8697.
 

Q: What is included with the demonstration kit?
We offer three different kits to fit your budget level. If unsure which one to chose, feel free to contact us with your inquiries.
 

Beginners Kit $250 + ($19.95 s/h):

This kit contains the bare necessities for everyone. You can always add more products to your demonstration kit as you get more parties. Your commission level is 20%. 

Basic Kit $495 + ($19.95 s/h):

The kit contains the bare necessities and so much more. This is good starting point in showing your customers a little bit of everything. Your commission level is 25%.

Professional Kit $995 + ($19.95 s/h):

This kit is for consultants who are serious about earning top commission and building a business for themselves. You get everything you need to wow your customers and booking those parties. Your commission level is 30%.

Exclusive to the Professional Kit, you may also opt to pay by installments (2) within 60 days with a credit card or post-dated checks.

* We will apply a one-time admin fee of $50 to cover application forms, training manual, personalized business cards,  sales receipts, and IVR credit card swiper.
